- professor envy
- the problem of growing up in academia is you can't help but feel as if
it's something you should do.

- i hate the web
- the many reasons why i hate the web, including the sheer fakery of it
all. (note that hating the web does not preclude liking it, even for
reasons exactly the same as for hating it.)
- on driving
- to explain my objections to automobiles so that i won't have to go
through it again and again.
- why feminists and environmentalists don't talk together much
- my current theories are that it's not due to any animosity, but,
rather, the lack of a common language and/or framework from which to
analyze problems.
