This is neither a diary blog nor a pure linksy blog. Starting from 2000, it was a get- stuff- out- of- my- system- and- keep- my- friends- up- to- date blog, but then in July of 2002, I decided to avoid the annoying commenters and moved all my personal stuff to livejournal, where I can screen my readers. (Before 2000, I didn't blog, and put everything up as individual pages using html instead.)
I'm in the process of turning this into a legal pundit blog, but it hasn't gotten there yet, mostly because I can't keep up with the volume. That, and I can't write about everything I do at work (ongoing litigation and all, plus various internal operation stuff that really should be confidential), which means a significant portion of my legal thought is off-limits.
If you want something organized, check out my book log, or something like that. Also, if you're a friend of mine, a long-lost acquaintance, or whatever, and you want to read my personal journal, email me and I can give you a passcode.
